Sample review · fictional business

A business receives inquiries, but too few become suitable jobs.

Follow three issues that could prevent interested people from becoming customers. Each observation explains why it matters and gives the business a practical next step.

  1. Make the service area clear.

Observation: The page describes the service but does not show which towns the business covers near the quote action.

Why it matters: Visitors have to guess whether the business can help them, and unsuitable inquiries take time to sort.

First change: Add the actual service area beside the main inquiry button and explain any travel limits.

  2. Show the customer what happens next.

Observation: The form collects details but does not explain who will reply or what information the reply will cover.

Why it matters: The customer may keep looking because they do not know whether the request reached anyone.

First change: Add a clear confirmation and set response expectations that match real working hours. Assign someone to each inquiry.

  3. Connect the inquiry to the outcome.

Observation: The report counts clicks and form submissions, but nobody records whether the inquiry was relevant or became a job.

Why it matters: More submissions can look like progress even when the business cannot use them.

First change: Keep a simple record of where each inquiry came from, whether the job was suitable, who replied, and whether it was booked.

The first priority

Fix the service-area message and the inquiry handoff before buying more traffic. Then check whether the business receives a better mix of inquiries and responds to them consistently.
